This material, has been thoroughly tested by the Public Works Department, and has given results fully equal to I those obtained by any other hydraulic lime in the Colony. It has been used at the Government Printing Office, new Hospital wing, Old Men’s Home, Mount Cook Gaol, and other buildings in this city, where the excellent results obtained can be seen. The saving < effected by the nse of hydraulic • lime instead of Portland cement is very considerable —at least 10s per 1000 bricks in walls, and 6s per cubic yard in concrete.—NOEßTJßY, TREVOR & CO., Time and Pipe Merchants, Stoat and Ballance-streeiq 935
