The barque G. M. Tucker was towed out for 'Newcastle on Saturday afternoon. The rs Wakatu, from Kaikoura and Lyttelton. left Kaikoura at 10.50 am on Saturday, and arrived here at 10.30 pm. She experienced line weather throughout, and returns this evening. - The barque C. P. Dixon, bounl for Valparaiso, was towed out by the Mana on Saturday morning. The ss Kiwi left Napier at noon on the 18th inst.; called at Uite, Blackhead and Glenburn, and arrived here at lam yesterday. She experienced N.W. winds and fine weather throughout the passage. ' The ss Stormbird left Wanganui at 10 pm on Saturday; towed out the schooner Clyde bound for Lyttelton, and arrived here at 11 am yesterday. She experienced fine weather throughout the passage. The Stormbird left for Greville Harbor last night. The ss Manawatu left Westport at 11.30 am on Saturday, and arrived here at midday yesterday. She experienced fine weather throughout the passage, which was one of the quickest that has ever been made from Westport. The E.M S. Kaikoura left Lyttelton at 5 pm on Saturday, "and arrived here at 7.30 am yesterday. She had fair winds and fine weather throughout the passage. The Kaikoura leaves for England on Thursday next. . The ss Neptune, which has been bar-bound in Blenheim for the last week, there being only Bft of water on the bar, arrived here at 12.15 am on Saturday. She returned on Saturday afternoon. . The steamers Huia from Wanganui, and ' Napier from I'oxton, arrived here on Saturday morning. Both vessels return to-day. The U.S.S. Co’s ss Eotomahana left Auckland on 18th instant at 12 am, and arrived at Gisborne on 19th at 1.30 pm; sailed again same date at 7.30 pm, arriving at Napier at 7 - am on 20th ; left same date at 10 pm, and arrived here at 3pm yesterday. She experienced light winds and fine weather throughout the passage. She leaves for Melbourne, via South, this afternoon. The U.S.S. Co's ss Hauroto left Dunedin at 3 pm on 18th, called at Oamaru, and arrived at Lyttelton at an early hour on 20th; left again at 6.20 pm and made fast to the Queen’s Wharf at 9 am yesterday. She experienced fine weather throughout, with light northerly and variable winds. She leaves for Sydney to-day. The U.S.S. Co’s ss Wanaka left Manukau at 8.30 am on 19th inst, and arrived at New Plymouth at 10.30 pm on 19thinst; she left New Plymouth at 11.35 pm on 19th inst, and arrived here at 4.45 pm on Saturday. She experienced fine weather throughout the passage. The Wanaka sailed for Lyttelton yesterday morning. . The U.S.S. Co’s ss Koranui left Dunedin on Wednesday, Oamaru on Thursday, Timaru on Friday, Lyttelton at 1 pm on Saturday, and arrived here eqrly yesterday morning. She experienced variable winds and fine weather throughout. The U.S.S. Co’s ss Kotorua left Lyttelton at 10 pm on Saturday, and experienced light north west winds till arrival at midday yesterday. She sails for Picton and Nelson to-day. The U.S.S. Co’s ss Suva left Auckland at 6 pm on the 16th, called in at Hicks Bay, Waipiro, and Tologa Bay, arrived at Gisborne at 2.30 pm on the 18th, left again at 4 pm of same day, arrived at Napier at 1 am on the 19th, left again at 5 pm the same day, and arrived here at 4.15 pm on Saturday. She experienced fresh southerly weatherfrom Auckland to Gisborne, thence fine weather to arrival. The Suva returns to-morrow.
