The Greatest Blessing. —A simple, pure, harmless remedy, that cures every time, and prevents disease by keeping the blood pure, stomach regular, kidneys and liver active, is the greatest blessing ever conferred upon man. Hop Bitters is that remedy, and the American Co., the genuine manufacturers are being blessed by thousands who have been cured by it. Try it. See. 6 The South Australian Register of the 27th ultimo, in an article on the Adelaide Jubilee Exhibition, calls attention to the way in which Mr J. Powers Smith, the representative of the New Zealand Court at the Exhibition, has distributed a number of useful publications concerning Ne w Zealand. Though the New Zealand Government are not officially represented, they have supplied Mr Smith with a number of useful publications. Among them is the “ Report on the Mining Industry of New Zealand,” and MrR, A. A. Sherwin’s “ Handbook of the Fishes of New Zealand,” prepared under the instructions of the Commissioner of Trade and Customs, regarding which it says, “ when shall we have a similar book in South Australia ?” Included in a budget of miscellaneous literature is “The Handbook of New Zealand,” with maps and plates, by Dr Hector; Sir Robert Stout’s “Notes on the Progress of the- Colony ; ” the “ Grower Lands Guide ; ” and the address of Mr Blair, C.E., on “The Industries of New Zealand, ” The above journal remarks that “the authorities of New Zealand seemed determined that the resources of the Islands shall not suffer through lack of advertising, and one regrets, seeing what our distant neighbors might have exhibited, that she does not exhibit more.” It refers in eulogistic terms to the splendid collection of kauri gum and greenstone ornaments exhibited by Mr S. Danneford, lapidary, of Auckland. Tea, Coffee, and Sugar. —Alexander Munro, although he gives the best value in every article in the grocery trade, gives his principal attention, to excel in the most, important articles—tea, coffee, and sugar.
