SEPARATE TENDERS will be received at this office on or before February first, 1887, at 4 p.m., for providing the material and constructing a Railway Wharf and a Cattle Wharf inside the breakwater at New Plymouth Harbor. Tenders by telegram will be received up to the same time, provided that the written tenders and deposits be posted before the telegram is sent. . , ~ The quantity of timber required for the Railway Wharf will be about half a million feet, consisting of iron bark, totara, kauri, and rimu ; and the length of the wharf and approaches will bo about 700 feet.
