SHOCKING CHARGE.
Woodvillf.. November 19.
Mr Joseph Bell, superintendent of the Church of England Sunday school, was charged this moruing, before Mr Hall, J.P., with the attempted rape of a girl, and with indecently assaulting two others in the vestry, on Sunday, 31st October. The children on whom the offences are said to have been committed are about teu years of age. The accused stands remanded till Monday. Wuooville, November 24.
The charges against Mr Bell of indecently assaulting children in the Anglioau Church vestry occupied the whole ©f yesterday. Accused was committed for trial.
