The weekly returns of the Bank of England Show the total reserve in notes and bullion to be LI 1,600,000, and the proportion of reserve to liabilities 37 per cent. The Times this morning states that Greece and Servia have refused to comply with the note of the Powers calling upon them to reduce their armaments to a peace footing. Constantinople, January 15. The joint delegates appointed by Bulgaria and Servia to arrange terms of peace between the two countries will meet at Bucharest on an early date. SPECIAL to united press association. (Received January 16,1.20 a.m.) London, January 13, A statement is made in the United Ireland newspaper that outrages will be perpetrated unless the eviction of tenants is stopped. The Standard states that Bishop Moorhouse, of Melbourne, has been appointed Bishop of Manchester.
