London cab-drivers have a Mutual Protective Insurance Company that pays £2O per annum to disabled drivers. It has 1100 members.
Four hundred omnibuses pass under the marble arcb at the corner of Kydo Park, London, every day. The omnibus drivers work sixteen hours per day, with four quarter hours for meals, and, unlike the cabman, have little or no opportunity for •• kips.”
