The Union Steamship Company’s steamer Potorua left Nelson at 5.30 pm on Tuesday, Picton at 0.43 am yesterday, and arrived here at 6.45 am, having had fresh S\V breeze across the btruita. She was swung in Evans Bay yesterday morning. ± ; She sails for -Picton, Nelson, Taranaki, and Onehunga to-day. The Union Steamship Company’s steamer Ringarooxna arrived here from Port Chalmers and Lyttelton at 11.30. an: yesterday, having left the latter port at 9pm on Tuesday. She returned in the afternoon. The steamers Wanaka, for Nelson, and Maitai, for. Westport, got away from Worser Bay at 2 am yesterday. , The barquentina May was berthed at the Queen’s Wharf yesterday morning. The Union Steamship Company’s steamer Omapere left Auckland at 1.15 pm on-Friday last, and had fine weather to arrival at Napier at 9 am on Sunday.-- She sailed fr m Napier at midnight on Monday, and encountered a strong SW gale with hail and rain, increasing towards midnight on Tuesday, with heavy sea and thick, dirty weather ; passed Cape Palhser at 3.30 pm yesterday, and arrived h'TB at 7.30 pm. She sailed for Greymouth at 11. The Black. Diamond Line steamer Mswhera comes off the Patent Slip this morning, and sails for Greymouth at noon to-day. The barque S. H.
