The departure of the ss Stormbird for Wan* ganui has been postponed until to-day. Tho Anchor Line steamer Kennedy left Nelson at midnight on Sunday, called Endeavor Inlet yesterday morning to take in 40 tons of antimony ore, and arrived here at 7.20 pm yesterday. She sails to-day. The Union Steamship Company’s steamer Hawea got away for Taranaki and Onehunga with the outward San Francisco mail at 3.05 am yesterday. ____ ARRIVAL OF THE MAY FROM SINGAPORE. The barquentine May, which left Singapore on March 25, hove in sight at the Heads at 3.30 pm yesterday. She was boarded by Pilot Holmes and beat into port during the night.
