SIR DILLON BELL AND DUNEDIN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
(united press association.) Dunedin, December 19.
Sir Dillon Bell, in a letter to the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce acknowledging the motion they passed, asking the lata Government to continue hia services as Agent* General, concludes as follows : —“ X should not omit to say that such kindness is appro* elated by me all the more when I contrast it with the discouragement and discredit which, in the House ,of Representatives last June, some bon. members evidently thought ware the right reward to be extended to me for the work that I have done.*
