WESLEYAN DISTRICT MEETING.
The Wellington Wesleyan District meeting commenced its sittings iu W*-dcy Chinch Schoolroom on Wednesday last week. The chairman of the district, the Rev. W. C. Oliver, presided, and the Revs. Lewis, Baumber, Isltt, Garlick, T, F. Jone*, Neilsen, Otter ChrLtcffereon, Heteraka Warihi, and Edward

The following grants were recommended from the Homs Misdon Fund -.—Greytown, £25; Hastings, HiO ; Maori work, £lO ; Scandinavian rpisdoT), £l2O. Mr Blow, registrar for Hie district, read the report on church properties, showing the total cost of church property In the district to be £3005 ; present value, £Bono ; insurance of buildings, £3130. The meeting unanimously thanked Mr Blow, and recommended his reappointment. Tho subscriptions to the Foreign Mission Fond amounted to £132, nearly £IOO in
excess of I nut year’s contributions ; the Supernumerary Fund, £94 10s; the Childrens Fund, 6147 11s 3d ; the Contingent Fund, £(J2 81.
