MELBOURNE WOOL MARKET. Melbourne, December 4. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited)held theirusual weekly wool sale to-day, when an important catalogue of some 4300 bales was offered, and 3600 sold. There was the usual large attendance of buyers. Competition is increasing, and the market is firmer for good merinos. Inferior greasy crossbreds are slightly easier; other wools are unchanged. At to-day’s sale greasy merinos sold up to 14d, and greasy crossbreds to ITJd, scoured merinos to 19-|d.
