FATAL MINING ACCIDENT.

(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Kdmaea, September 29. A miner named John Bard was this morn* ing going down the ladder of a shaft at Larrikin’s Terrace, and, missing his hold, he fell a distance of 45 feet. He was borne down to the hospital here by relays of miners, where it was found he had sustained a comminuted fracture of the right shoulder-blade. He died about an hour afterwards. His age was 53.
