recteb’s telegrams. (Received September 30, 0.55 a.m.) London, September 27. New Zealand wheat, ex warehouse, is quoted at 43s to 465. September 28. The Australian cricketers were entertained at a banquet last evening, at the Criterion, prior to their departure for Australia, by colonists now in England. Sir Henry Barkly, formerly Governor of Victoria, occupied the chair, and during the' evening warmly < complimented the cricketers upon, their, successes in England. Two hundred and sixty 'guests were present. Albany, September 29.
The P. and O. Company’s steamship Yerona, with the inward mails, via Suez and Brindisi, dated London, 25th August, arrived in King George’s Sound this morning.
