This Company is formed for the purpose of working a goldraiuing lease of sixteen and a half acres, situated at West Wanganui, and adjoining the well known Golden Ridge Company’s claim, the last crushing from which gave a yield of 4950 z of gold, of the value of £3 18s per oz, from 250 tons of quartz. The present holders of the property propose to float a Company with a nominal capital of £20,000, in twenty thousand shares of £1 each, of which 10s per share is to be considered as paid up. The promoters retain ten thousand shares, which are to be contributing, and offer the remaining ten thousand to the public at a bonus of la pec share. The close proximity of the lease to the Golden Bidge Company’s mine, which has now keen successfully worked for seven years, renders comment upon the investment onnecessary. The head-quarters of the Company will be established in Wellington. As soon as a sufficient number of shares have been applied for, a meeting of Shareholders will be called for the purpose of taking the necessary steps to register the Company, appoint Directors, &c.
