MIRACULOUS ESCAPE FROM DEATH ON A RAILWAY.
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, September 25. Catherine Kelly, while sleeping off a drinking bout at Kumeu Bridge, was struck by the cowcatcher of the down Kaipara train, and, making a somersault to the bottom of the gully, escaped with laceration of the face and arms. ■
