THE LONDON MARKET.
The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company yesterday received the following produce telegram dated London, 13th September : Wool.—Competition is increasing, and quotations are on an average id. to Id. better than at the opening. Trade in the manufacturing districts is slightly better. Up to date 175,000 bales have been sold. , Tallow.—The market is quiet. Best mutton is worth £36, and best beef £33 10s. per ton. Wheat.—Market quiet. Adelaide is worth 455., and New Zealand 425. per 4961b5. Leather.—Market firm. Best sides at ll|d.
