ATHENÆUM POPULAR CONCERTS.

TO THE EDITOR OP THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES. Sir, —Noticing an advertisement in an evening contemporary that a second series of Athenajum concerts will be given this winter, and not being quite clear as to whether the concerts are under the direction of the Athenamm Committee or otherwise, I should feel ranch obliged if you would kindly make me and the general public clear on the matter. Being an old member of the institute, and always having the well-being of the same at heart, I felt bound in a way to support last year’s concerts, aud will do the same this winter if they continue them for the benefit of the institution.—l am, &c., An Old Buffer.
