GENTLEMEN, —It becomes my pleasing duty to inform you that I have been nominated as a candidate for the office of Mayor of the City of Wellington ; and I beg respectfully to solicit your votes and support. The Election will take place on TUESDAY, the 27th MAY, and it is my intention to address the Ratepayers in each Ward prior to that date, in order that I may explain my views on the various subjects likely to engage the attention of the City Council. Notice will be published in the newspapers fixing the dates for the Meetings, and stating where they will be held, as soon as the necessary arrangements are made. The School will be entirely supported by voluntary contributions, ALL SCHOOL MATERIALS WILL BE PROVIDED. Applications for admission may be made at once. Written applications will be required, forms of which can now be obtained. A suitable building will be erected as soon as means are provided.
