The ship as she stands, with one anchor at the bow, 45 fathoms of cable, spare spar for main yard, fore-yard, steam winch, Normandy’s condensing apparatus complete, cooking range, winch fixed at fore hatch, ship’s bell, 2 binnacles and stands, 4 compasses, rigging on board, 2 devil’s claws, about 20 tons of coals, masts and yards that are standing, 2 anchors and chains laid out; one of them can be seen at low water), the other has a good buoy chain fit to lift it, and a rope to the end of the cable; a lot of boatswain’s stores, including scrapes, marline spikes, &c., &c.
