VALUERS UNDER THE LAND TAX ACT.
A supplementary list of land valuers appointed under the Land Tax Act is published in the Oazette of Thursday last. For the Wellington District the following gentlemen have been appointed :—Arthur Braithwaite, Hutt, Wainuiomata Riding ; William Skeet, WairarapaEast, Awhea Riding; Job Vile and James Brown, Wairarapa East, Wainuioru Riding; Alexander MoHutchon, Wairarapa East, Castlopoiut ; William Skeet, Wairarapa West, Greytown, Foatherston, and Otaraia Ridings; Robert William Ind Carver, Wairarapa West, Borough of Masterton; Thomas Frethy, Wairarapa West, Borough of Greytown ; John Coleman Ferguson, Wairarapa West, Town of Featherston ; Alexander Svend Dreyer and Frederick Jagerhorn, Wairarapa West, Masterton and Alfredton Riding ; Arthur Beauchamp, Wanganui, Wangaehu District. The list of valuers for this province will now be nearly, if not quite complete. We are unable to judge of tho other districts, but believe that 209 or 210 names have already been gazetted.
