The frontier disputes at the Cape have been settled iu favor of the Zulus. : London, January 6. Wheat is 6d. and flour Is. lower in price than at last advices. New Zealand fives, 99. January 7. The suspension of Messrs. Tweedie, Williams, and Co.’s Cornish Bank, at Truro, has revived the uneasy feeling which recently prevailed in commercial circles. The liabilities of the bank are stated to be £500,000. Melbodene, Friday. The Mayor of Melbourne entertained the Canterbury cricket team yesterday. A two day’s match, between the Canterbury players and the South Melbourne Club, commenced to-day. Canterbury plays against East Melbourne, the Bohemians, and the Richmond Clubs next week.
