TO THE EDITOR OF THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES. Sib, —A few days ago X noticed an enquiry in your paper as to whether the relatives of the late Colonel Faddy had been communicated with, in order that they might make some provision for the children. In reply, I may inform those who take an interest in this sad case that the relatives of the late Colonel distinctly decline to make any provision whatever,! ot the orphans.—l am, &c., Sympathises.
