ELECTION OF MAYOR. NOTICE is hereby given that an Election of Mayor for the city will take place on THURSDAY, the 17th day of DECEMBER instant. Any person desirous of Nominating a Candidate must, before four o’clock in the afternoon of Wednesday, the 9th day of December instant, deliver at the office of the Town Clerk, addressed “ To the Returning Officer,” a nomination paper in the prescribed form, which must be signed by not less than three persons duly qualified to vote at such election, and also by the person named therein as a candidate, in token of Ids assent to being so named.
