NOTICE.
The Public are hereby informed that liis Excellency’s Governnient have it in contemplation to do away with that portion of the resent Postal System, which allows of Inland letters being forwarded paid or unpaid at the option <jf the sender. It is intended that frdm the Ist April next, all letters shall be prepaid and with Stamps only. Negotiations are also pending with the Imperial Government for the estublishhient of n system of Post Office Mdh&y Ordets, between New Zealand and the United Kingdom, and should such negotiations be completed in time, the Post Offices of Wellington and Wanganui will be in i position to issue such orders from thte Ist April next.
