She brings intelligence of tho wreck of the schooner .Adelaide Packet, Wethcrall, master, on Toupekn Beach on tho 14th October; there was a light wind from the N.N.E. at the time, with a very heavy swell which set in to the Bay and drove her ashore. The cook was drowned, and Mr. 11. Winteringham nearly lost his life in trying to reach the shore. All hands wore in the rigging for several hours ; shortly after they left tho vessel, she became a total wreck.
