The sale was evidently genuine and unreserved, and hence such a large quantity of goods were, quitted at rates that upon the whole must be regarded as fully equal to the average that similar goods have recently brought, when offered in much i mailer quantities.
The Ashburton, from London, arrived on Thursday with cargo and passengers; and the Marchioness, with the English mails, t ame in last evening. We are not able to present our usual summary of the English and Colonial markets, but hope to do so in our next issue.
