Aloorhouse, Esq., of the Royal Veterinary College, was got by ” Conqueror," alpure-bred Clydesdale, out of “ Diana,” the best bred Suffolk Mare in England ; grandam by “Euphrates,” great-grandam by old “Smolensko,’ which realised by private contract the sum of £2,350. “ IVestminster" is a four-year old; a dark iron grey; stands 17 hands high, on short legs, and is allowed bv competent judges to be the finest Draught Horse imported in the Southern Hemisphere.

“ Westminster’' will stand on and after the 19th October next, at the Aglionbv Arms, River Hutt, every Aloxday and Tuesday; at Air. Bromley’s, Ferry Inn, Porirua, every liiursday and Friday ; and Air, James Firth’s (the owner’s stables), Apsley House, Tinakoti Road, the remainder of the week. Terms—For a limited number, £5 : ss. each Mare, payable on the Ist January, 1858. N.B.—Good Paddocks provided for Alares at half-a-crown per week, without guarantee, but every possible .care taken. Hayes, from the stud of Janies Al'Arthur, Esq,, was got by the imported Arab Horse Crab, one of the greatest winners on the Calcutta Turf, Dam Alice Grey (dam of Cassandra), by Old Emigrant, out of Gulnare, bred by Lord Mavnard, in 1822 by Lord Egraont’s Young Gohana, out of Ultima by Holyhock (vide Stud Book.)
