To Cover for the Season, 'T'HAx well known rich Bay-coloured Draught Horse “ G L E M E L O •" lately imported frem Svdnev ; got bv a famous Clydesdale Horse, out of a Suffolk mare; stands 1 6 hands high ; G years old. He is said by competent judges to be the best Horse ever imported into the Colonv. Glenelg will be at the Traveller's Rest, Taita, on the second Monday of October next, and will be there every subsequent Monday, till the end of the season; at Whitewood's Hotel, River Hutt, (kept by Mr. Arthur Hayward), every Tuesday during the season ; in V elhngton, every Wednesday and Saturday, at Mr. Nevin’s Stables, New Zealander Inn, Manners-street, Te Aro ; and at Mr. Hammond’s Farm, Porirua Road, the other days of the week. Moorhouse, Esq., of the Royal Veterinary College, was got by “ Congueror,” a'pure-bred Cly-desdale, out of “ Diana,” the best bred Suffolk Mare in England; grandam bv “Euphrates,” great-grandam by old “Smolensko,* which realised bv private contract the sum of £2,350.

“ IFes/nu’zisfer” is a four-year old; a dark iron grey; stands 17 hands high, on short legs, and is allowed by competent judges to be the finest Draught Horse imported in the Southern Hemisphere. “ Westminster” will stand on and after the 19th October next, at the Aglionby Arms, River Hutt, every Monday and Tuesday; at Mr. Bromley’s, Ferry Inn, Porirua, every Thursday and Friday; and Mr, James Firth's (the owner’s stables), Apsley House, Tinakoti Road, the remainder of the week. Terms—For a limited number, £5 : ss. each Mare, payable on the Ist January, ISSB. N.B. —Good Paddocks provided for Mares at half-a-crown per week, without guarantee, but every possiblelcare taken. July 18, 1857. To Cover this Season. Beautiful Tborohgli-brcd Entire x “ GREY CAMDEN." This extraordinary Horse, 6 years old, was imported by Capt. Hayes, from the stud of James M'Arthur, Esq., was got by the imported Arab Horse Crab, one of the greatest winners on the Calcutta Turf, Dam Alice Grey (dam of Cassandra), by Old Emigrant, out of Gulnare, bred by Lord Maynard, in 1822 by Lord Egmont’s Young Gohana, out of Ultima by Holy, hock (vide Stud Book.) Emigrant foaled 1822, by Pioneer, out of Ringtail, by Buzzard (vide Stud Book.” “ Grey Camden" is a rich Mottled Giey, possessing fine muscular development, a beautiful temper, and high action. “ Grey Camden" will stand on and after the 19th October next, at the Aglionby Arms, River Hutt, Monday and Tuesday; at Mr. Bromley’s, Ferry Inn, Th-fjday and Friday; and at Mr. James Firth’s ?1( owner’s stables), Apsley House, Ti&akori Bird, the remainder of the week.
