FR AUDULENT STOCKBROKERS. LONDON, July 25. Leveson and Cooke, of the firm of Starkey, Leveson, and Cooke, sharebrokers, who recently failed, were sentenced to five years’ imprisonment each, for misappropriating ‘ clients’ money. The stockbroking firm of Starkey, Leveson and Cooke, of Threadneedle street, London, filed a couple of weeks i >go, with liabilities amounting to about two hundred thousand pounds. Paulin C.
