An egg of abnormal size lias by a hen belonging to Chief-Officer Earwood, of the West Bay Coastguards, Bridport. It measured 7|-in by 6lin, and weighed slightly less than a quarter of a pound. It is stated that the British Government has decided to set apart <£6ooo for developing experiments in India in connection with the Brennan mono-rail system.
