PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, July 27. At a meeting of the Auckland Provincial Bowling Association last evening a request was received from the Auckland delegates to the North Island Bowling Association, asking the Auckland Association to undertake the North Island tournament and entertainment of visitors in January next in Auckland. It was decided that as the Auckland Association had not been officially approached, it could not undertake the tournament. The president and secretary of the association undertook to assist as chairman and secretary, and a strong committee has been formed.
