THE NEW ZEALAND LIST. MEETING OF THE SENATE. A special meeting of the Senate of the Sniversity of New Zealand was held in Le University offices, Wellington, on Saturday. The following questions were decided: —“That law candidates for the year 1907 may take in one examination all the subjects of the second division under tfie new statute.” “That for the degree of Bachelor of Science (research) a thesis may be presented in any subject of the curriculum; and that a new thesis may be presented in a subject in which the candidate has already obtained lionoiirs.” Dr B. S. Story, of Kaikoura, Marlborough, M.D. of the University of Manitoba, was admitted ad eundern to the degree of M.B. in the University of New Zealand. Mr H. D. Cook, M.Sc., was appointed examiner in mechanics for matriculation and junior scholarship instead of Mr L. V. Halliwell, who is absent from New Zealand.
