PRACTICAL EXAMINATION RESULTS.

The following results of the examina. tion in practical subjects, concluded on the 11th inst., in the Wellington Centre are supplied by Mr A. J. Wicks, chief secretary for New Zealand. The examiner was Mr Charles Edwards, L.Mus., T.C.L. The maximum marks are 100, the qualification for a pass certificate is 60 per cent., and for an honffurs certificate 80 per cent. Unless otherwise specified, all subjects are pianforte playing. THE MEDALS. The gold medals donated to the Wellington centr- are awarded as follows: Highest marks, presented by Messrs Ch:s. Begg and Co., won by Mias Vera Fogelberr intermediate division. Senior division, presented by the Dresden Piano Company, won by Miss Sylvia Williams. Intermediate division, presented by the Local Committee, won by Miss Vera Fogel berg. Junior division (Martha Myers Memorial), presented bv Mr Judah Myers, won by Elizabeth M. Shirer.
