THE PREMIER.

ROTORUA, March 9

The Premier arrived by train tonight. The station Avas croAvded Avith residents and visitors. As the Premier appeared, cheers were given for him. He was met by a large number of members of the Liberal Association. Accompanied by Mrs Seddon, Miss Seddon, and the Hen. J. Carroll, he Avas driven to the Grand Hotel. A banquet was given in his honour to-night. Great preparations have been made for unveiling the monuments at WhakareAvarewa and Ohinemutu to-morrow. Natives have been (flocking hither since Thursday, and some hundreds are now assembled at WhakarewareAva. Large quantities of food have been presented by visiting natives.
