The Maori Committee of the International Exhibition, in consultation with Mr Hamilton, Curator of the Wellington Museum, has agreed upon a scheme for Maori representation at the Exhibition, it is proposed to erect a building in Avhich the various arts and customs of the Maoris shall he illustrated, and to obtain from the North Island fifteen Maori men and ten women, all expert in different branches of old arts, to afford illustrations. A 1 small fortified pa, it is suggested, will also be built. A site has been selected for the erection of the building, and plans have, been prepared by the Eixhibition architect. Poi and haka" dances Avill bo given in the Concert Hall by natives of those tribes Avhich are most proficient. Mr Hamilton will submit plans of the proposed building to the Native Minister
