The leases of three pastoral runs, aggregating 13,142 acres, and situated in the Hawke’s Bay district-, will be offered at public auction on October 12th. The term of the lease in each case will be twenty-one years, and the upset rentals are as follows: —No. 1 block, 5326 acres, £33 6s; No. 2, 3827 acres. £25 18s 2d; No. 3, 3989 acres, £27 Os 6d. The land is described as open fern country, fronting the Mohaka river; jight pumioeous soil; elevation, 500 to 3C*oO2t above sealevel. Portions of the land carry native and self-sown English grasses. The auction will take place at the Lands Office, Napier.
