THE ALGERIAN CAPTIVE. PARIS, August 29. It is stated by several Parisian newspapers that the French Minister, having failed to induce the Sultan to release - the French-Algerian who was recently taken prisoner by the Moorish ?<uthorities, has been ordered to leave Fez. PARIS, September 1. M. Rouvier (Premier of France) and Prince Bulow (the German Imperial Chancellor) have agreed to the main bases of the programme at the Moroccan Conference. MOROCCO, August 31. Court Tattenbaeh (German Charge d’Affaires) supports the demands made by Count TaUiandex* (French Charge d r Affaires) in consequence of the recent arrest of a French Algerian. The demands include the release of the captive and payment of an indemnity. The Algerian is ill owing to the foul state of the prison into which he was cast, and has now been released, ostensibly as an act of clemency. Count Talliander is pressing the remainder of his demands. MOROCCO, September 1. The Sultan is unwilling to apologise and pay indemnity for the recent arrest of a French Algerian. Count Talliander, however, insists on the French demands being complied with.
