Extensive preparations are being made to 'celebrate the centenary of Trafalgar at Nelson. The programme for the day was outlined by the Mayor of Nelson at a recent meeting, and is one that should attract many visitors to “ Sleepy Hollow ” in October next. His Excellency the Governor is to arrive at about 9 a.m. on the 21st, and will be received by the Mayor, Borough Councillors, volunteers, and citizens, and escorted to Church HilL, where addresses will be presented and a few short speeches made. It is proposed that the Premier will deliver an address on “ The Great National Cause.” The foundation-stoue of the new Nelson College wi} 1 he laid about noon by the Governor, and in the afternoon he will re view, the volunteers in Trafalgar Park.
