THE QUEEN’S STATUE, WELLINGTON. —The bronze statue, erected to the memory of the late Queen Victoria in the Post Office Triangle, Wellington, was unveiled by His Excellency the Governor, Lord Plunket, on Saturday, April 29, in the presence of the Premier, the Mayor, and a large gathering of citizens.
