The subject for the programme of the Dairymen’s Conference at the winter show has been decided as follows:—June 2()ta. annual meeting of the National Dairy Association of New Zealand, Ltd.; annual meeting of New Zealand Institute of Dairy Secretaries. June 21st and 22nd, pap r. “Dairy Farm Buildings,” Mr C. J. of prize winners in the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association Dairy Farm competition; report of judges in connection with tho same; paper, “Africa and South American Dairy ng,” Mr J. A. Kinsella, Dairy Commissioner; paper, “A Form of Blood Poisoning in very young calves and its association with pneumonia, etc., in pigs.” Mr J. C. Gil ruth, chief veterinarian; paper, “Bacteriology of Milk, with illustrations,” Mr G. E. Owen; paper, ' £ Ensilage: how to make it, w ; h special reference to the use of maize,” Mr W. Mills, Cheltenham; paper, “How to become a successful bee farmer,’’ Mr I. Hopkins, Government Apiarist; annual meeting of New Zealand Butter and Cheese Makers’ AssociaUon. Several panel’s will be read at the latter meeting bv members of the New Zealand Dairy staff. Mr Ashton and members oi the above association.
