At Foxton on Sunday morning the foundation stone of a Masonic Hail, which is being erected by Lodge ie Awahou, New Zealand Constitution, was laid by Bro. Clement, W.M. Ihei-e was a large turn-out of Masons and ethers The building, the contract for which has been let to Johnston Bros., is to be of two stories. The ground floor wiU l>e devoted to a hall for public .mthcrhv's. It will be 50ft by 30ft, with a platform. The upstairs portion will be the lodgercom, etc. The building is to be up to date in every particular.
