To Stop Hiccoughing.—When the attack comes on press the pulse as hard as possible, and the hiccoughing will immediately cease. To Remove Tartar from the Teeth.— Take a little flowers of sulphur and moisten with a little water. Rub gently every day until the teeth are quite clear of all tartar.

Good Cure for Corns. —Take a fresh root of dandelion, break it in two, when a white juice or pith will be seen. Rub this juice on the corn, and before long the corn will disappear.
