THREE ANTHRAX DEATHS.

Two men in the Cupar district of Fife have succumbed to an attack of anthrax. Recently Robert LoAvrie, butcher dressed a bullock for the farmer tat Onnn.oquhie Mill. The meat was dispatched to Dunedin, but fortunately Avas seized by the health authorities. LoAvrie contracted anthrax, but paid no attention to the blood poisoning. He was discovered lying on the floor of his house unconscious, and died soon afterwards. The son of t-lie farmer to whom the animal belonged, who had assisted Lowrie, also died after much suffering. An inquest, jlield ejn Henry Allen showed that lie died of anthrax poisoning.
