CHAMPION FLOOR.
In the New Plymouth exhibition number of the “Mail” was stated that Virtue and Co. were the inanufac. Hirers of the Champion brand of flour. This was palpably an error, and the illustration of the exhibit on the same page showed it to be so, for the tide of the real manufacturers, the “Northern Roller Milling Company, Ltd.,'” of Auckland, appeared] in’ large letters over the exhibit. The Northern Company, with its Champion brand, has throughout opposed the flour trust, of which Virtue and Co. are the Auckland agents. Hence the confusion of the popular Champion flour with the name of the Trust representatives is the more regrettable.
