A bicycle is used to do the family washing for the family of H. G. Hitner, of Edinburgh, Va. His wife has a rotary washing machine, and to this his bicycle is ingeniously attached. The clothes and soap and water having been put in the machine, Hitner mounts his stationary wheel, lights a cigar, and pedals for about an hour. At the end of that time the washing is done.
