Mr David Isaacs, son of Mrs Isaacs, of the Duke of Edinburgh Hotel, and a brother of Mr J. N. Isaacs, photofrapher, has booked passage to London y the steamer Mongolia, which is to leave Sydney on the 23rd prox. Mr Isaacs, who has been studying dentistry in Wellington, is proceeding Home to complete his course at the London Dental Hospital and subsequently in America. His intention is to return to the colony and practise his profession in Wellington. The salmon can, for short distances, travel at twenty-five miles an hour; the swiftest of marine creatures are those of the whale family.
