A MARVELLOUS LAND YACHT

An automobile “as big as a flat,” and with all the conveniences of a yacht, is being completed for a Cleveland millionaire, Mr Louis D. Schoenberg by name. Standing as high as a tramcar, it is to be propelled by a gasoline engjne of 308 horse-power. It contains living compartments, kitchen, dining-room, buffet, drawing-room, and sleeping quarters. Every comfort ingenuity and modern science have devised for the convenience of travellers is provided. A seven horsepower dynamo, driven by an auxiliary engine, supplies electricity for heating

and lighting. Sleeping berths are arranged after the fashion of a Pullman car for ten persons, although at a pinch 28 may toe accommodated. The kitchen is a marvel of econamy in space. Electricity provides heat for cooking ,and the stove, when folded, may be tucked into the smallest corner. The tables, also, collapse into almost no space at all, and a lever, when pressed, reveals an astonishing amount of unsuspected cupboard room. When not in use for cooking, the kitchen is fitted as a buffet.

The car is not only the most complete in the world but the speediest, for it is waranted to go at the rate of 100 miles an hour. The proud owner will tour through the United States, and will then come to Europe.
