UPPER HUTT

The annual ball of the Upper Hutt Rifle Club, held on Friday night, was a great success. The hall was crowded, and as there was a most energetic committee everything passed off smoothly and enjoy ably. Trophies won during the pasifc season were presented to the winners by Mrs F. W. Connell and Mrs Johnson. As a mark of esteem, Mr Connell, the captain of the club, was presented by the members with a handsome fruit stand mounted in silver and suitably inscribed.
