Minister of Public Works —Mr Walter Bennett. Minister of Public Instruction—Mr J. L. Fegan. Minister of Mines —Mr J. Kidd. Vice-President of the Executive Council—Colonel Mackay. SYDNEY, June 17. Mr. W. P. Crick, Secretary of Lands in tho late Ministry, speaking at Biayney, made no effort to conceal his chagrin at not being summoned to form a Ministry. He would, he said, still support his late colleagues. It was patent some feeling was at work to compel Mr B. H. Wise, late Attorney-General, and himself to be overlooked in favour of Mr Waddell. Mr Crick admitted the Ministry had spent a lot of money, but such expenditure, he contended; was justifiable. If employment had not been found for the people they would have had to be sent to asylums and gaols. So firm was ; his belief that he would he sent for that he had drafted a policy on his voyage over from New Zealand.
